It's everywhere! - "moma"

We've had a relatively mild winter, probably a total of 8 inches of snow and unseasonably warm temperatures, in the 30s and 40s. It's been killing Alyssa because we had told her it would snow after her birthday. In a three year old's mind, it's been a long time since November. With even the smallest amount of snow, she gets so excited. After the first dusting she exclaimed "Snow momma! It's everywhere!" So when we finally got a few inches, she was super excited. She wanted to go walk in it and try and catch snowflakes on her tongue.

We got 2-3" last week, so the girls and I tried to go sled riding. Our driveway is a little hill, so that's what we use; it's the perfect size for the girls. All of us had fun.

What Alyssa really wants to do is build a snowman, but the snow last week wasn't good for building snowman. So we wait -

Lauren has also learned what a snowman is, she says "Moma" when she sees one and loves her "Moma" pajamas.

So when we got 3-4" overnight, the girls were both very excited. They couldn't wait to get outside after day care. Yet again the snow wasn't good for building snowmen, but it was good for sledding,

making snow angels,

eating,

driving,

going down the slide,

and even swinging.

Lauren really isn't too sure about walking in the snow, but she enjoys getting out and getting fresh air. We're looking forward to sledding with some friends tomorrow and hopefully making a snowman sometime soon!
